Even at large construction sites, there always seems to be a lack of space for equipment to manoeuvre between other machines and piles of materials. The ability to maintain productivity in confined spaces has become important and this demand from contractors has given momentum to the design, engineering and production of compact materials handling equipment. Some of the materials at the site are waste materials and it boosts productivity if the machine which loads them into trucks or recycling equipment has a good loading height and manoeuvrability. It is practical if the operators can look into trucks during the handling operation.
