Member (Materials Managements] Addresses the Vendor Meet

With a view to induct new vendors and enhance the product range of existing vendors, the Northeast Frontier Railway organised a Vendor Meet in asso" ciation with Chittaranjan Locomotive Works at Rang Bhawan, Maligaon, Guwahati on 10 May, 2019. More than 225 participants represented 153 vendors from different part of the country including North-East region in the meet. Inaugurating the Vendor Meet, the Member (Materials Management), Railway Board Shri VP. Pathak mentioned about the rapid growth and technological transformation that are taking place in the Railway system and emphasised on the need of having more vendors for supply of materials for maintenance and safe & effective train operation.
