Casagrande says it has sold more than 2600 of its C6 crawler drill rigs worldwide, and it has now introduced an XP (extra performance) version of this machine for micro piling, anchor drilling and jet grouting. A key new feature is load sensing hydraulics, which the company says cuts fuel consumption by -25%. There is also an improved joint in the mast, which allows the machine to drill next to obstructions like walls. Sliding lattice extensions mean it can reach depths of 18 m in jet grouting mode.
