Chinese construction equipment manufacturer Liugong has finalised its acquisition of Polish dozer specialist Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) and its distribution subsidiary Dressta. The purchase of the Polish state-owned company was first announced in March 2011, and the two companies have since been negotiating terms. HSWs portfolio includes dozers from 74 hp to 520 hp (55 kW to 388 kW), and Liugong said it was one of only seven manufacturers worldwide to manufacture a complete dozer range. Liugong also plans to build other products from at the HSW factory for sale in Europe after establishing this strategically important manufacturing and logistics footprint.
