Caterpillar's revenues for 2013 were US$ 55.7 billion, a -16% decline on 2012s figure of US$ 65.9 billion. The company said this was due to a sharp fall in sales of new mining equipment. The company made a net profit of US$ 3.79 billion last year, compared to U.S$ 5.68 billion in 2012, a -33% drop.
