The last Bauma China exhibition in 2014 broke all records for the event, attracting 3,104 exhibitors from 41 different countries - up 14% compared to 2012 - and taking up 300,000 m~2 of exhibition space. Visitor numbers came in at 191,000 visitors, with people descending on the New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 149 countries. And the 2016 event, which takes place from November 22 to 25, looks set to be a good test for China, given its current market situation. Show organiser Messe Muenchen Internationals Collin Davis, Project Group Manager, said, "The situation in the Chinese market is complicated, which, of course, is also reflected to a certain extent in a trade fair. However, there's no doubt that Bauma China remains by far the biggest and most important sector event in the Asian region."
