Evolution of dry grinding technology for ceramic products

Paper presented to the Convention "European suppliers for the ceramics industry in Thailand and Vietnam with Ceramica Informazione and International Ceramics Journal", organized by Gruppo Editoriale Faenza Editrice, Thailand e Vietnam 22-26 November 2004. Over the past few years, thanks to continuous research and development. there has been a remarkable evolution in the MANFREDINI & SCHIANCHI "Dry Processing" lines, so much so that, by using this technology today, it is possible to produce a high quality mixture for the following products: 1. single fired red and white body floor tiles; 2. monoporosa wall tiles; 3. traditional and rapid double fired wall tiles; 4. glazed porcelain stoneware with special applications in the glazing line; 5. highly prestigious extruded products (terracotta vases, cotto floor tiles, extruded porcelain stoneware, clinker etc.).
