A MEETING ABOUT THE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN THE PRODUCTION OF PORCELAIN STONEWARE PRODUCTS AND SURFACE TREATMENTS

It may have been the holidays for some, but the organisers at Faen-za Editrice were still hard at work in July, organising the meeting that took place in the Auditorium at Confindustria Ceramica in Sas-suolo to discuss the latest innovations in porcelain stoneware. They could not have chosen a more interesting subject because all porcelain stoneware producers have recorded an increase in their production; the lowest output (80 million square metres) in 2006 was for white-body single-fired tiles and the highest (240 million square metres) for glazed porcelain stoneware which, added to the 120 million full-body stoneware, takes the figure for this tile production to 360 million square metres.
