It all started when over 300 cast and crew arrived in Belfast in June 2010. One of the few film studios in the world that could cope with the scale of the production was the eight-acre Paint Hall Studio complex in Belfast, Northern Ireland -and it was there that filming began using Arri Alexa cameras recording on to Sony's HDCam SR format.
