United Breweries has begun production at its facility in the Indian state of Rajasthan. In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, UB said it has commenced "supplies of beer upon commissioning of the company's brewery located at Shahjahanpur", in the northeast of Rajasthan, near New Delhi. The plant has a total capacity to produce about 1 m hectolitres per year. It produces the Kingfisher Strong beer brand in both 33cl and 65cl bottles.
