Mitsubishi delays delivery of first passenger aircraft

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has pushed back the delivery of Japan's first passenger jet until 2014 after revamping the design, while eyeing a stretch version for Europe. Launch customer All Nippon Airways will receive the Mitsubishi Regional Jet in early 2014, three months later than previously scheduled, said Hideo Egawa, head of Mitsubishi's aircraft division.
