MRJ pegs hopes on Asian market

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation which bagged an order for 20 firm MRJ90 on the opening day of the Farnborough International Airshow expects the Asian market to prop up its sales in the near future. The Executive Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Masao Yamagami said that presently narrow-body aircraft dominated the Asian market, but with the opening up of the skies, point-to-point travel would expand and there would be demand for regional aircraft. This may take four to five years and MRJ is perfectly placed to tap the emerging market.
