Preparation of Water-Soluble CdTe Quantum Dots Based Immunofluorescent Probes and Its Application in Serological Immunoassay

Nanomaterials are honored as new materials of the 21st century. Compared with traditional organic dyes, quantum dots (QDs) have attracted extensive research interest due to their excellent fluorescent characteristics. In this research, the mercaptopropionic acid capped QDs were linked with monoclonal antibodies via EDC/NHS as immunofluorescent probes to detect the antigens in serum. The bioactivity and the titer of antibodies in the fluorescent probes were analysed with the method of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.
