Expressions of interest in MFL inspection training and certification

BINDT has been approached to ascertain if there is any interest in producing a training and certification package for magnetic flux leakage (MFL) inspection. MFL is an established inspection technique for tank inspection and is now being reliably used on pipe and thin-wall vessels. It is envisaged that a working group is convened to look at the need for training and examinations in MFL inspection in line with current PCN-approved packages.
