The World Trade Organization yesterday made public to all members a panel decision that finds European Union member states provided illegal subsidies to Airbus in the form of repayable launch aid for the development of each of its large civil aircraft. Sources close to the EU case told sister publication Inside U.S. Trade this week that ruling will not end launch aid and EU member states plan to make repayable launch aid loans to Airbus for the development of its new A350.
