DOD May Revise Cyber Funding Figures For FY-12 Budget Request

The Defense Department may revise its official statements concerning how much of the Pentagon's fiscal year 2012 budget request supports cybersecurity. Last month, DOD rolled out a budget plan described as having $2.3 billion for cybersecurity, including $119 million for U.S. Cyber Command. But congressional and Pentagon sources have since described those numbers as a "moving target." And DOD is acknowledging it may revise those figures.
