OMB Memo: FY-14 S&T Priorities Include Manufacturing, Green Tech

Advanced manufacturing, information technology and clean energy will be among the White House's science and technology priorities in the fiscal year 2014 budget, according to new guidance from the Office of Management and Budget. To advance the state of the art in production capabilities, OMB wants departments and agencies to partner with industry and universities, focusing on enabling technologies such as robotics, materials development and additive manufacturing, according to the June 6 memo.
