DSB Poised To Propose Metrics For Evaluating 'Resilient' Weapon Systems

The Defense Science Board is poised to release a new report examining the resiliency of weapon systems against cyber attacks and calling for metrics to assess the security of these systems, according to board chairman Paul Kaminski. "This report starts to set up a set of metrics to look to see how well we're doing, and that includes things like conducting exercises, includes things like how well are we putting in the patches... [and] fixing known vulnerabilities as they're discovered," Kaminski told Inside the Pentagon in an interview Tuesday.
