Basic Osprey flight training for both services is overseen by Marine Medium Tiltrotor Training Squadron 204 (VMMT-204), located at Marine Corps Air Station New River, NC. The squadron trains about 115 Marine students and roughly two-dozen Air Force students per year to fly the V-22, using Marine Corps MV-22 aircraft.
