The new data analytics organization within Boeing's defense business is seeking to use the company's information to bolster performance and efficiency, two executives told Inside Defense last week. The organization was formed last year; Dewey Houck, formerly general manager of electronic and information solutions within Boeing's network and space systems unit, was named the defense group's first chief data analytics officer. Ted Colbert, Boeing's chief information officer, told Inside Defense the company has been focused on elevating its use of data across the business.
