Raytheon sits out Next-Gen Jammer-Low Band competition

Raytheon has bowed out of a multibillion-dollar maritime airborne electronic attack competition, setting up a two-way race between L3Harris and Northrop Grumman for the Navy and Marine Corps' Next Generation Jammer-Low Band (NGJ-LB) program. Raytheon last summer said it was still considering offering a proposal for the next stage of the NGJ-LB competition after the Government Accountability Office in 2018 sustained the Navy's decision to exclude Raytheon because its design was deemed too big for the demonstration-of-existing-technologies phase.
