Cove Point LNG export terminal enters commercial service after outage

Dominion Energy said April 10 that its Cove Point LNG export terminal had formally entered commercial service following a planned maintenance outage and the continued ramp-up of output at the Maryland facility. The company shipped its first, and only, commissioning cargo on March 2, and since then the market has been eagerly anticipating the beginning of commercial service under long-term contracts with Gail India and a joint venture of Sumitomo and Tokyo Gas.
