Shri Sudhir Kumar, IAS has taken over as Chairman & Managing Director of The Mysore Paper Mills Ltd., Bangalore with effect from November 2008. Mysore Paper Mill is one of the oldest paper mills in the country, a State Government Undertaking, producing 350 tpd of writing and printing paper as well as newsprint. Mr. Sudhir Kumar held many prestigious positions at the Centre as well as State Govt of Karnataka.rnThe postings in government of India held by him are Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri-business Consortium (SFAC) Society, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Union Ministry of Agriculture, Dept. of Economic Affairs, Union Ministry of Finance. During his tenure in revenue dept., he has handled direct and indirect taxes and held higher positions in Rajasthan.
