摘要

Deposition of Ti and Mo coatings on low-carbon steel followed by its treatment with compression flows of nitrogen plasma leads to a deep alloying of the steel (up to 10 μm) with the substances of the coating and the plasma-forming substance (nitrogen), to changes in the elemental and structure-phase compositions (the formation of solid solutions based on Fe and (Ti, Mo)N), and consequently to changes in the properties of the treated surface.
