Comparative investigations of the microstructure, phase composition, and crystallographic orientation of the matrix and reinforcing phases of eutectic composites Ni/Ni_3Al-NbC and Nb-Nb_5Si_3 obtained with a flat and cellular growth front in the process of the high-gradient direct crystallization are performed.
