We have studied the structure and luminescence properties of (0001) ZnO epitaxial films on (0001) LaMgAl_(11)O_(19). It is shown that local overheating of the surface of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)crystals under the action of high-energy electrons leads to a shift of the exciton luminescence peak of ZnO to the region of 400 nm. The presence of intense luminescence bands in the luminescence spectrum of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)with maxima at 360 and 430 nm, respectively, associated with defects of the F ~(+)and F types, is found. Compared with similar color centers in sapphire, their emission bands are broadened and shifted to longer wavelengths. An increase in the exposure time in the electron flow leads to broadening and enhancement of the intensity of the red luminescence of LaMgAl_(11)O_(19)crystals.
