Unimills one of Europe's leading manufacturers of unhardened fat flakes

Unimills, leading European supplier of tailormade vegetable oils and member of Asian multinational the Sime Darby group, today announced expansion of fat flaking capacity with the installation of a dedicated flaking line for unhardened fats. This additional flaking capacity enables Unimills to process vegetable fats at lower melting points and thus to offer customers healthier fat flake formulations which are trans-free and made from unhardened fats only. The new soft flake products will be launched in Prifex~R 300 and Prifex~R 400 series. Products will be tailored to customer specification in fat composition and functionality as well as added flavours and aromas.
