Ammeraal Beltech and Hovis combine to develop innovative next generation belts for dough handling systems

One of the world's largest manufacturers ofrnconveyor belts, Ammeraal Beltech, has beenrnworking closely with Hovis (part of PremierrnFoods, one of the largest UK food manufacturers)rnon an innovative new technology for the breadrnbaking industry.rnHovis has been produced at the company's London, Forest Gate bakery for many years. The site saw a major expansion some six years ago, turning it into one of the largest and most sophisticated bread plants in the UK.As part of the Hovis renaissance which has included reviews of recipe, process and plant during 2008, they have been working with Ammeraal Beltech to provide improved belt performance on a major project to upgrade the dough handling system.
