We know that consumers are sweetening solutions that help them reduce calories and sugars, but they're not willing to sacrifice great taste. In fact, the most important benefit to a consumer when choosing a sweetener is that it's, "a good balance of taste and health," with Stevia ranking second highest in this attribute1. A recent survey found that 47% of consumers' purchasing decisions were significantly impacted when products claimed to have low-/ reduced-o-sugar and that 44% were influenced by low-/reduced-calorie claims.
