People today are using mobile computers more than ever, and when using them they want the comfort and control they are used to with their desktops. The Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse was designed to deliver on that challenge. It goes from flat to curved with one simple movement, so working on the go is easier than ever. At less than 15 millimeters thick at its widest point, it easily slips into a bag, purse or pocket-delivering ultimate portability. Many people prefer the comfort and control provided by a mouse, but often don't want to carry one with them when they are on the go. Even small, mobile-sized mice are often perceived as being too bulky: They don't store well in a laptop sleeve and aren't convenient to bring along. The design team saw an opportunity to create a product for this ecosystem that combines the need for a thin form factor with the desire for a more comfortable mouse.
