Creating a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) requires the right combination of platform, practices, and people - as well as the organizational and governance structures that are a prerequisite to success. Implementing an SOA initiative must be done using a proven set of organizational, financial, operational, design, and delivery practices - best practices that provide a focused framework for SOA.
