SpringSource, the open source developer being acquired by VMware, is rolling out Cloud Foundry, an expansion of its Java application deployment product line that eventually will let enterprise developers produce an application and deploy it to a "private cloud" environment.rnInitially, the Foundry will let applications developed on the open source Spring Framework be deployed tornthe Amazon Web Services EC2 public cloud. Longer term, it will be to private clouds running inside enterprise data centers, says Shaun Connolly, SpringSource's VP of product management.
