Library Reference Points: 'Slow Down Cowboy'

While I was entering items into the events calendar on the Web site of the Philadelphia chapter of the Medical Library Association late one evening, a strange message flashed on my monitor: "Slow Down Cowboy." Huh? Was someone virtually watching me post and telling me to slow down? And if someone was watching me, didn't the system know I was a cowgirl and not a cowboy?
