RefWorks added enhancements to RefAware, its online personal research assistant and monitoring service launched in March 2008, and to RefWorks, provider of a web-based research management, writing, and collaboration tool designed for the academic and research communities. Now, users can find information about the author(s) of the articles cited in their retrieved results through the new links to COS Scholar Universe. The brief profiles of the authors include current affiliations, recent publications, and links to profiles of any co-authors. RefAware results will also include images whenever available to provide visual information to the researcher in addition to the bibliographic citation. Users can now also create custom source sets and expand on the number of strategy creations in their accounts.
