IFLA: Libraries On the Agenda

Claudia Lux, director-general of the Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin (ZLB, Central and Regional Library of Berlin), began her term as president of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) in August 2007. After her keynote at the 9th International Conference on Grey Literature (February 2008 IT) in Antwerp, Belgium, we spoke about her plans for IFLA and her thoughts about the changes libraries must make to accommodate the needs of today's users. Here are the edited highlights of our conversation.
