ProQuest recently added a new resource for its customers working in pharmaco-vigilance, the science relating to drug safety. Pi2 Solutions, pronounced "pie squared," is a U.K.-based pharmaceutical information (PI) and literature management provider. The company's name "originated from the acknowledgement that big pharmaceutical organizations have lots and lots of information," says co-founder Mark Drinkwater. The "squared" in Pi2 came from the idea of empowering customers with PI, he says.
