Denmark's State and University Library is taking steps to safeguard its audiovisual collections and a newspaper collection that dates from 1666. It has struck a deal with Preservica, whose system will manage and preserve the library's digitized collections. Initially, the library's multi-petabyte national radio and TV collection will be rolled into the system, with other collections following suit over the next few years.
