PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial library construction device capable of improving browsability and operability.;SOLUTION: From properties of a hierarchical classification dictionary in a hierarchical library having the hierarchical classification dictionary, in which a lower class inherits properties of an upper class, and instances as property attribute values, one or more properties are set as a retrieval condition, an instance satisfying the retrieval condition is retrieved from the library according to the set retrieval condition. Using the retrieved instance, a class including the instance, and its upper class, a partial library having a partial dictionary 902 serving as a part of the hierarchical classification dictionary and an instance 901 serving as an attribute value of the property of the partial dictionary is constructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
