The e-business environment is changing continuously, so are the technologies. Their mutual influence has accelerated the pace of their progression. Enterprises demand supporting software of greater flexibility and expect shorter lead times for development in order to meet dynamic requirements. As more business transactions have been carried out over the internet, the issues of managing these transactions within bounded resources and with the required level of trust need to be addressed. e-Business has introduced new economic phenomena, so the existing pricing mechanism may not be competent. To tackle the challenges requires new concepts and enabling technologies.
