Internet Inquiry: Conversations about Method

Researchers utilizing qualitative methodologies confront many seemingly chaotic tasks. Beginning with design of the study through the analysis and presentation of the results, questions may arise with regard to the ambiguity of findings and the possibility that data collection and analysis may closely interplay with each other. One of the biggest challenges arises from the fact that, in many stages of analysis, decisions have to be made between inductive and deductive reasoning, which necessitates an articulate defense of each decision along the way.
