In the wake of the recent oil spill off the Gulf coast of the United States, oil companies, environmental organizations, and the federal government continue to work together to solve the imminent and life-threatening slick conditions. As plumes of oil lurk beneath the surface, the ocean's future, and way of life for many in the area come into question.
