Research into e-Government Services

摘要

New Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and communication via the internet are becoming commonplace and essential tools for the advancement of the work of public sector organizations. Public administration institutions increasingly provide information and public services on the internet and this process motivates society to use ICTs. Accordingly, the basics of electronic Government began to develop. The spread of such services in Lithuania has services for business and the population at large through the use of ICTs. This concept document was discussed and examined by various experts and was re-issued in more than one edition. In 2002 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania finally confirmed the concept of electronic governance.
