Are your workers ready to embrace Industry 4.0?

Industry 4.0 is transforming organizations and cities into intelligent ecosystems, where digital interconnectivity denotes a profound transformation that challenges society, mainly from a human being's perspective. Its embracement in organizations embodies the adoption of new enabling technologies and primarily a mindset transformation for workers, which includes the development of new skills and competencies to cope with this new era. Considering this scenario, any model, method and tool designed to face this transformation will be helpful to managers and transformation leaders as a part of the industrial engineering toolbox. Thus, we present this human-centered maturity model for Industry 4.0 adoption that gives guidance to companies and supports them, particularly in developing their workforce's skills and competencies related to becoming "workers 4.0."
