Bronto Skylift for E.On

Bronto Skylift delivered recently a 54m aerial ladder platform the the industrial fire brigade of energy company E.On in Germany. The unit is based in E.On's coal plant in Grosskrotzenburg am Main (Hessen). The plant comprises of a coal warehouse that is over 50m high, while conveyor belts transporting the coal from the warehouse run to 44m high. The platform can be operated from the cage or from the ground, and it has a Bronto+ electronic control system making the operation easy and safe. A remote-controlled electro-hydraulic water and foam monitor has a capacity of 3,700 l/min, fed by a centrifugal pump mounted behind the driver's cabin.
