IFAI reaching out to future textile designers

Two of IFAI's divisions-the Safety and Protective Products Division (S&PPD) and the Fabric Graphics Association (FGA)-offer Student Design Challenges (SDC) to help expose current college students to the specialty fabrics industry. The Safety Products Student Design Challenge invites design and engineering students from more than 100 colleges and universities to submit their creations. "The mentoring and networking our companies provide are essential to the encouragement of the next generation of textile employees," says Ruth Stephens, managing director of S&PPD.
