A technology executive with extensive experience in high-risk environments will be among the keynote speakers at the Lean Six Sigma & Data Science Conference Sept. 20-22 at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead, Atlanta. Morgan Smith, retired president and chief executive officer of Consolidated Nuclear Security, will share his 36 years of technical and managerial leadership experience at the in-person conference. Smith's career has been focused on nuclear work and performance improvement in high-risk occupations. His technical background includes the design, development and fabrication of reactor control drive mechanisms, steam generators and refueling equipment. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
