OSHA has distributors sitting on the fence

As OSHA carefully reviews its ergonomics ruling that Congress voted down in January 2001, safety distributors sit on the fence waiting to see what's going to happen. Should a strict ergonomic ruling for the workplace go into effect, it could mean a fresh stream of business for such distributors - most of which are already selling ergonomic-related products. For now, most are taking a "wait and see" approach to the issue. The standards proposed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were voted down as being too costly for employers, impractical to enforce and based on poor research.
