The result of over eight years continuous development, this design provides the performance necessary for the next generation of machine tools for lens production and diamond machining centres. The completely air-operated 2" diameter chuck is shown fitted with replaceable aluminium jaws and represents a major advance in the very accurate holding of delicate components, since the clamping pressure depends upon air closing pressure applied to the chuck supply.
