Women and Child Focus

摘要

All women facilitation centres at 7 stations provided (Chennai Central, Chennai Egmore, Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore, Madurai, Calicut, Thriuvanthapuram ) are helping lady passengers. These centres render round the clock assistance to women passengers in booking pre-paid auto/ taxi services, retiring rooms, rail-related information such as arrivals/ departures/Platform Info, to mention a few. Besides, such centres help women passengers to lodge complaints with GRP. Women Staff are pooled from Commercial and RPF to work at these centres. This unique initiative of Southern Railway has been well received by women passengers and rail users at large.
