An Overview of S&T Department

摘要

Bhavnagar division is in the era of evolving and replacement of Mechanical Signaling from Lower Quadrant to Multi Aspect Color Light Signalling and Mechanical Interlocking to modern semiconductor based Electronic Interlocking system. At present, three different types of interlocking arrangement exists in BG section over Bhavnagar Division: With the commissioning of Electronic Interlocking at Bhanvad, Gop Jam and Lalpur Jam Stations by replacing the Mechanical Interlocking arrangements yard operation has become safe and smooth. At present Ranavav and Porbandar station is working with mechanically interlocked LQ signaling arrangement.
